Hipperholmee West Yorkshire

Hipperholmee is a village in the Calderdale area of West Yorkshire, England, located between the towns of Halifax and Brighouse. It is located on the busy A58 road and includes Hipperholmee Grammar School, a local private school.

Hipperholmee is a thriving village with many local shops, and is also home to one of the best pubs in West Yorkshire, the Whitehall, located on the Crossroads. Other pubs in the area are the Travellers, the Country House, the Hare and Hounds and the White Horse.

Lightcliffe is adjacent to Hipperholmee so much so that the boundaries are blurred, some may state that the boundary ends at the doctors surgery, where the names on the addresses change from Lightcliffe to Hipperholmee. The local primary school is Lightcliffe Church of England school. The Secondary schools are Hipperholmee Grammar School and Lightcliffe Sports College and also Brighouse High School.

Hipperholmee is a crossroads, which makes travel useful. There are frequent bus routes from Hipperholmee to Halifax, Brighouse, Heckmondwike and Bradford. There is the Halifax rail line which runs through Hipperholmee and Lightcliffe, however a station no longer exists to facilitate the village.
